Shortcut Chili
Chilli powder is a blend of chilli peppers, cumin, oregano, garlic and sometimes cloves or allspice. It’s the primary spice in "Chilli con carne" and one of the most frequently found spices found in North American homes.

Instructions
  1. STEP 1 : Heat the oil. Brown meat with Chilli powder in skillet
  2. STEP 2 : Stir in salsa, beans (with liquid) and water - if using. Reduce heat to medium and simmer 10 minutes.
  3. STEP 3 : Smash some of the beans with spatula to help thicken Chili. I keep aside 1/2 cup beans to smash.
  4. STEP 4 : Season to taste with pepper, if desired.
  5. STEP 5 : Serve on it’s own, or with steamed brown rice.
  6. Note: use organic ingredients whenever possible
