Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground turkey or chicken
- 1 tbsp grapeseed or avocado oil any oil that can withstand high heat
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 16 oz fresh salsa low sodium - 65mg per 2 tbsps
- 2 cans no salt kidney beans 15oz cans
- 1/2 cup water optional depending on thickness you prefer

Instructions
- Heat the oil. Brown meat with Chili powder in skillet.
- Stir in salsa, beans (with liquid) and water - if using. Reduce heat to medium and simmer 10 minutes.
- Smash some of the beans with spatula to help thicken Chili. I keep aside 1/2 cup beans to smash.
- Season to taste with pepper, if desired.
- Serve on it’s own, or with with steamed brown rice.
